  • Are you open during school holidays?
We are open every second Saturday from 9.30am to 12.30pm, including in school holidays. The library closes for around 6 weeks over summer. See the full schedule of our sessions here.
  • Do you charge for overdue or broken toys?
We do not charge fees for overdue or lost toys. We trust our members to return loans on time and with all pieces. It's a good idea to take a photo of each toy and its parts when you get home, so you can check you have all the pieces before you return it. If a loaned item is damaged or lost, please let our librarian know when you return your items. If you find a missing piece at home, we'd be grateful if you could return it to the librarian at the next session.

Please pay your membership fee via bank transfer. Our bank account details: Ngaio Toy Library Inc 02-0524-0058182-01 Please use your name as reference. Toys can only be taken out once the membership fee is paid.

We discuss and distribute upcoming work at our meetings, and loosely keep in touch in-between meetings via our chat.
